On September 11th I was asked to speak at the Religion News writers
Association annual convention in Minneapolis.
I was part of a panel called:
"House churches and Jew-it-yourself services"
The Moderator was Cathy Grossman, from USA TODAY
I was on the panel with
Mark Frydenber, who is the chair of the National Havurah Committe.
Havurah is a group on Jewish communities that are relational,
interactive and based on participatory small groups.
It was great fun interacting with Mark and hearing what was happening
in the Jewish world.
We both spoke for 20 minutes, then had a question and answer session
with the religion journalists from different news sources around the country.
Your can hear the audio of the panel discussion at.
